Muhlenberg Junior High School Academics

Muhlenberg Junior High School is organized into grades 7-9 and follows a six day schedule. Each day is made up of 9 - 40 minute periods , eight instructional periods, and a lunch period.

In grades 7 and 8, student schedules include a two-period block of both English Language Arts and Math. Additionally, each 7th and 8th grade student will have one scheduled period of Science and Social Studies which meets daily for the entire school year.

In grade 9, students have a traditional schedule of one period each for all four core classes.

Additionally all students will attend a variety of electives (Art, Computer Skills, Family Consumer Science, Health & Physical Education, Music, Technology, and  World Languages) throughout the school year.
